The Hudson Terrace entrance is the only connection to Hudson Drive from the south end, so no.

Also, if we ride on Hudson drive will we be up higher than the water? I know when you're riding on the West Side bike path you literally can walk to the water but if you look across the way into Jersey it seems that there is a cliff.

It goes back and forth, you're usually somewhat above the water but below the cliffs. Still good views.

we did the ride from the croton dam to hartsdale. very nice run . another nice run is every year the town of carmel ny throws the tour d putnam . you can do up to 100 miles . the hills are insane but it is loads of fun . the town throws a big party after too with food and music
