spent today in harlem.it was pretty nice.the best was the studio museum and the levain bakery .they have some of the most outrageous cookies you ever had
Wow. every time I go to Harlem nowadays, especially the lower half of 8th Avenue I'm still amazed. I remember back when 116th and 8th Ave was an adventure in the mid 90's.

Returning to NYC next saturday and would love to visit Harlem for the first time. All the times I been to NYC it was either passing through on my way to CT or spending time in Manhattan

i was surprised to see all the open air eateries now . a far cry from the 1970's when i got lost there one night .
a walking tour is very nice . we went off on our own but i can see a guided walking tour being very interesting . we ran in to a group in a tea and spice store and they were getting the whole history of the store

You posted that tour bus and got me all excited which made me ask my friend can we ride on that next saturday and she cancelled the trip because money is tight. Damm lol
