But you know what, at the end of the day it's still better than my current living situation. I guess you can call me an optimist. Not too much bothers me nowadays.
anything is better than living with family. the apartments are decent

My step son goes to the pre-k at Crossroads Plaza I so I'm aware of the area. It's exactly the same as where I currently live except I'll have 3 bdrm, 2 bath at crossroads and the 6 train across the street. Trust, I lived in the Bronx for over 20 years (Courtlandt projects 15 of those years). I'll be just fine at crossroads. And God forbid it's horrid, I planned on purchasing in the near future anyway so this would just speed up the process.

I hope they don't mess up the next TCO inspection because I can't wait to see what the units look like.

I have 3 boys and myself (female) and I'm getting a 3 bedroom. I told my case manager at my initial interview that I only need a 3 bedroom. Once approved, he told me it's a 3 bedroom/2 bath. I'm assuming you qualify for both a 2 and 3 bedroom but if one fills up in your income band before the other, they'll offer you what's left. You can simply ask your case manager though.

I prefer a 3 bedroom because I live in a 2 bedroom. Let's see I'll ask tomorrow to see. Who is the one that assigns you the rooms wavecrest or HDC? Do you thing that all the 3 bedroom are filled up in crossroads II?

I hope it doesn't. How do I get the number of my case manager? I only speak to the lady that has email since the beginning and she is helpful.

Most likely the one responding to you is your case manager.

Also, absolutely no idea where they are at in the process of filling up the units. There is very little feedback from ppl on this particular thread about who's been accepted. In fact, has anyone other than me been officially accepted to crossroads?

I also am unsure who assigns what type of bedroom to the applicants but I'm assuming management does and the city will let them know if they need to change it.
