I'm sure there are people who do so, but I don't know any. Worst is my friend who pays $2300ish for a relatively large studio on Fulton St near the One World Trade Center, but he also has an elevator, doorman, balcony, etc. His elevator goes into a Russian bathhouse.
Yes I mean there are already 3500 studios in Brooklyn but I doubt anyone on these forums would pay that.
So does that mean that you're paying a premium to get into a "happening" trendy neighborhood in Brooklyn? I would think in Brooklyn you could get into an interesting neighborhood without paying that much.
Just out of curiosity. Or is that disillusionment what I get for watching reality TV?
Probably some dummy non-native new yorker from either the midwest or from some other country who thinks it's, "like totally cool, oh my god" to live in a place like that.
