I don't think my file has been sent to HDC from what I know everything is good but they need to get closer to my log # I have like 300 files before mine so I will wait until the beginning of next month.
Not sure if the info is correct or I just misunderstood she said that everything has been approved they just need to get to that number. Does anyone know if being approved means that HDC also approved?
This sounds like they've approved your file at the office, but it hasn't gone to HDC yet. They have to make sure they don't fill the units allocated to your income band and apartment type, in those 300 files that are ahead of you.
I called today and I was told that I need to send the appeal, I might take 2 week and then if everything is fine they send my file to HDC..
By the time they sent my file to HDC all the apartments are going to be full.... I don't know what to think at this point.
I'm pretty sure that they can't fill apartments that can be given to you, with someone with a higher log number, until after your appeal. That's why appeal periods are so short; they hold up the entire process. You should definitely appeal, and this seems like an open and shut case, really. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't even be worried. This seems like an easy appeal, and you should get an apartment, as long as there aren't other issues.
I saw two people move in today so I hope yan 2 you get your approval
