Walked by the building again on the way home from work. They are making good progress on the paved areas around the building. Seem to be doing work on the retail spaces on the ground floor. Otherwise it's really difficult to tell when they may be ready for us. Just have to hope their mid August-September estimate is correct and that they don't delay filling the units once we reach that point.
Here we are into week 2 of August. I haven't been to the building in a few weeks, I've been trying to hold out and give enough time for me to see movement. I will go next Sunday before we go into week 3. Hold on all, as it is getting close to finish (I pray)

No clue. The most useful thing for me would be a dry cleaners/laundry place. There is one at 33 West End Ave (61st and Freedom Pl) but the closer the better (and they are kinda expensive being the only one in the neighborhood)! The area could also use a CVS/Rite Aid/Walgreens/Duane Reade to cover the booming far west side, but who knows if these retail spaces are big enough for that. Though there is a Duane Reade one avenue block away at 59th and 10th.
Yeah a reasonably priced dry cleaner, pharmacy, and deli would be on my wish list. I guess we'll see what they come up with. I won't bother hoping for an email this week, but counting down to next week for sure. I hope they keep to their schedule.
this building has the poor door
smh how people making 30+ is poor? jesus fking christ NY
kinda glad i wasn't selected for this one though
What income do you consider poor for NYC? I've always thought middle class started around 60-70K here. I definitely feel poor, so I'll take the poor door, haha!
