So East Harlem is to be rezoned for development next, now that the developers have declared East New York's rezoning a success.
Parts of East Harlem on the Avenues (like 3rd or 2nd) still have a lot of buildings that have been vacant except for retail stores at the bottom for decades. The landlords are waiting to be bought out, and it appears that day is coming.
