Hi, everyone! What do you think of the area around Sackett and Hicks in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn?

It's fine, very nice and generally quiet. The one issue to check out is that the BQE runs right down Hicks ("the pit") so if you're right on Hicks there will be traffic and noise right out the window. It's a few blocks walk to the train at Carroll St., which makes it a bit less convenient than, say, Court or Clinton St. But across the BQE there are some cool places over on Union and Columbia Sts (Schnack, Alma). There's also a very good sit down pizza place, I think on Henry, around there.
