We all know about Rockefeller Center and Saks Christmas light shows, but what are some of the lesser well known but just as impressive Christmas displays, lights, markets, etc. in the city this year?

I usually check out the BID events throughout NYC and they have decent family-oriented events throughout December. Worth looking into if you haven't already.

I think the Bryant Park Christmas tree this year is very nice. At the same time one can wander around the Bryant Park X'mas market.

I always liked this one myself. Great little shops and food. Also the Grand Central Holiday market. Not sure if thats running as I dont work in Manhattan anymore. GC I always felt got overlooked.
