We are considering a move to Beacon or Rhinebeck and will travel up to both places in a few days.
Many opinions on this board were written in 2009 but now that I joined, I see the board is up to
date.

I'd be interested to learn about life today in these two towns. Also, is it gay friendly? Is it
senior friendly? Many years ago I spent time in northern Vermont. I learned that
Vermonteers didn't like outsiders very much. I'm wondering about that here.
