Anyone here even been to a hiring pool for a civil service title? I am looking for some feedback on what to expect on this kind of hiring pool when they call you from the list.

It's like a job fair with different booths you wakk to. Introduce yourself and make small talk with each agency that's there. I dislike this format of interviewing....not for everybody.

Thank you very much for the info nyccs. At least I know what to expect. This is the least I can do.
HI nybklyn.
How was the hiring pool, which agency was there?
I hope you were hired.
Hi Sumskaya,
There were multiple agencies, Department of Transportation, Department of Building, Department of Health, Department of Finance, etc... Every candidate has 3 different chance interview with 3 different agency, and you can only accept one offer. I was hired by one of the agency, but not given a start date. I heard some candidate might be given the start date while others might not.
I received 2- HRA and DOT.... unfortunately neither has any information to give me of where and what the positions are.
