you all heard of underage drinking or sexting, which are both prohibited in NYC and rest of the US.
but, how about underage political wash? for an example, read the following underground/online call for a march that exploiting children by a group of desperate nyc "parent" losers...it is appalling how desperate they have become when the election outcome went against their will so they decided to exploit the naive minds of their underage children...how pathetic...!!!
these parents should surrender their parental rights. do you not agreeeeeee??

"...A group of NYC parents are organizing a Kid Speak Out and March this Sunday in Central Park.

We were craving a way for kids to have a voice in this crazy new political world. We wanted kids to have a forum to speak out for kindness, unity and equality-- and to cut above the adults making a mess of things basical...."

a relevant question to follow: should the country lower the age limit for voting?

by the way, why only "adults" are allowed to vote in politics in the US? do childrens' opinions not count in shaping the political landscape if this country?

That's awful. Hopefully the new administration will have those children deported.

You are targeting the victims for the evil minds behind the move. If anything, the parents should be rounded up and reeducated about proper parenting skills.

Not likely. The new administration plans to decimate the Department of Education.

It's all junk science. Thankfully the new administration will be dismantling the Environmental Protection Agency.

The ED was not created to provide education to the citizens of the United States.
That role was left to each state education department.
The ED was not created to oversee that process either, merely to offer assistance and cooperation sharing state practices.

When Congress created the Department in 1979, it declared these purposes:

-to strengthen the Federal commitment to ensuring access to equal educational opportunity for every individual;
-to supplement and complement the efforts of States, the local school systems and other instrumentalities of the States, the private sector, public and private educational institutions, public and private nonprofit educational research institutions, community-based organizations, parents, and students to improve the quality of education;
-to encourage the increased involvement of the public, parents, and students in Federal education programs;
-to promote improvements in the quality and usefulness of education through federally supported research, evaluation, and sharing of information;
-to improve the coordination of Federal education programs;
-to improve the management and efficiency of Federal education activities, especially with respect to the process, procedures, and administrative structures for the dispersal of Federal funds, as well as the reduction of unnecessary and duplicative burdens and constraints, including unnecessary paperwork, on the recipients of Federal funds; and
-to increase the accountability of Federal education programs to the President, the Congress and the public. (Section 102, Public Law 96-88)

I'm all for abolishing the ED, or abolishing state ed. departments. The redundancy is more harmful than helpful.

Bunch of privileged cornball ageing yuppies living out their fantasies of being politically active through their children and just another opportunity to pad their instagram accounts to lord over their "unenlightened" families back whereever the hell they came from. These are the same morons who will GLARE at you, mumble under their breath, and in some cases take a picture of you on their phone if you don't give up your seat on the train for the precious snowflakes in the morning. The cult of the child is not a good look...

From what I know, a lot of UES parents are pushing it.
what is damaging in my opinion is the way they show how their children deal with different views/opinions. Instead of accepting and respecting the decision/choice made by the majority, they choose to teach their children to join them to protest the product of democracy.
