This is one of the LE agencies that is supposed to keep us safe from terrorists?
"The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on Wednesday announced disciplinary action against 44 agency police officers for allegedly shirking their duties while on the clock.
The 44 officers — accounting for approximately one-third of the PATH rail system’s command — allegedly stayed in break rooms and missed patrols while on the clock, according to the Port Authority Inspector General’s Office."
And those port authority officers are the most highly paid . Paid from our taxes! What a shame....
How are they paid from your taxes when Port Authority receives no tax revenue? It's not good that these cops screwed up and they need a good housecleaning, but be factual. The bulk of PA revenue comes from the airports, the rest from tolls and seaports.

Port authority police are not paid from taxes like the nypd. Port authority is a private police force. Most of port authority revenue comes from rents and tolls collection.
Am not surprised this whole thing went down largely around OT. Overtime is like mother's milk to PA cops who unlike some others now can still juice their pensions by raking up insane hours in years before putting in their papers.

lol, no they aren't. Do some basic research before you grab your pitchforks.
