The units are assigned to all of us awaiting approval with a lower log number (lower than 2000, if that's what she said to you). What if some of us don't get approved either by BG or by HPD later on? Then they will invite you all from the wait list to go over again and bring more documents. Who knows what's happening, the whole process is illogical. BklynDee has CB preference, was invited late and is now waiting for HPD approval... just my guess is that nobody without CB preference has moved in yet.

The only thing that i can think of is people with lower logs are still in process or close to getting approved. Jelly is still waiting on her appeal in which they SHOULD of held her place/unit in line.

Anything can happen though-people may drop out, incomes can suddenly change, household members can change, appeals may be denied. They probably just want to get a back up list started.

Im suprised they knew how many units are left though ??

Exactly! How did they know it is 4 units left? like 4 exactly? 4 to be assigned, or 4 left in total? How weird this is!

There's nothing you can do, just wait it out and keep on applying to other lotteries. This isn't the first and wont be the last one you get called to - lord knows ive been called before just to get wait listed 2 weeks later.

I heard back today form my leasing specialist and was asked to submit IRS transcript for 2016 for my husband. He did not mention anything about my appeal and won't answer my questions about it. He sent me the link to order transcript online and send it to them by October 19. We filled a joint tax return for 2016 and I gave them the return at the interview.

When you sign the documents for the city, doesn't the city then have access to it? Did anyone else have to do this? Thanks!
