You got waitlisted for a studio or two bedroom?
My leasing specialist told me today she is sending my paperwork to compliance for review but she wanted to let me know they are waiting on a “couple appeals” and have to see if those goes through before they will be able to offer me a two bedroom. Ugh. Is this just total BS? How many people are waitlisted for a two bedroom ahead of me? Log number is 42** for the 120%
We do have city worker preference but don’t even think that mattered or is being counted as preference.
I already want to pull my hair out and it’s been two weeks. And everyone on this board seems to have disappeared. Where is everyone!?! LOL help me 😂

For initial appeals, they are supposed to hold the apartment for that person while the appeal is being processed. If the appeal is rejected, the apartment will be released to the next applicant.

Thanks.

The leasing specialist has sent my file to compliance and she said there’s only one two bedroom left. If this appeal falls through they will send my file to the city for final approval.

This is the worst! I looked at a 3 bedroom apartment that we LOVE (we have to move soon) but I can’t rent that until i know about the Eugene. Just my luck I’d rent the 3 bedroom then get called for the Eugene a day later. This is so stressful.

How often are appeals accepted? Seems like it’s pretty often! How long does the appeal process take?
Appreciate any insight because I am really tempted to just rent the 3 bedroom and say ********** whole stressful preocess.
