LED lights, while brighter, consumes way less energy and the bulbs last longer. Hence, they are cheaper. I love the way they brighten the streets and give a 'clean' glow. It does make the streets looks more beautiful, in my opinion. Look at NYC. New lights, no more toll booths. We are going places lol.

Growing up in Kansas, We have had them for nearly a decade! I am always weirded out when I see the old yellow lights again.

I'm in favor of them as they're more energy efficient, however I do think the old ones look better with the lampost design.

You know what the MOST energy efficient lighting is? NO LIGHT at all! Why bother even lighting places if we want to be so green? Sorry, but the new bulbs look like ****, especially indoors. Perhaps looking like a toneless zombie is in vogue right now though? Everyone wears nothing but dirty grey sweat pants (men) and nasty black yoga fart pants (women) anyway!? I have never seen humans look so down-trodden, basic, and dull... I must be old lol!
