President Obama used his lame-duck period in office for a major anti-Israel action, by not providing the customary U.S. veto to this resolution.

The whole world knows that the Israelis are occupiers, so who cares who they vote for?

It has always boggled my mind as to why Jews tend to side with Obama and the Democrat Party especially considering how anti-Jewish Obama is. I guess the Democrats have done a good marketing job on the Jews.

The GOP has always been a big supporters of the Jews so logic would have it that the majority of Jews would naturally back the GOP.

America's Jewish population is fully capable of making their own decisions, independent of Israel; they are Americans after all.

As for your other query, perhaps they don't like what they see.

False, the majority of Jews still have ties and family back in Isreal. Jews are complete idiots to support Obama and the Democrat Party. Thats like Jews supporting Hitler!

And the democrats will be bringing in plenty of the Jews Muslim friends as soon as they can before Trump takes office so they can experience the kind of anti semitism the Jews have in Paris.

No. Apart from the ultra-orthodox, most NYC Jews seem to be "culturally Jewish" only.

Lol at this clueless thread. Most Jewish New Yorkers are educated progressives who understand the need for a two state solution to resolve that conflict.

Most understand that the never ending settlement expansion is a political tactic by the religious crazies to undermine the two state plan and increase their numbers and power relative to Israels civilized modern population.
NY Jews are not taking their cues from right wing propagandist clowns, to answer the OPs question.

American presidents have long bumped heads with Israel over it and have blocked these resolutions in the past only due to a combination of lobbying and political cowardice. Netanyahus move further toward the religious right and transparent disregard for a two state solution made this necessary. In fact its overdue.
