I know musicians who have moved to Philadelphia and Berlin, people working in the fine arts moving to Los Angeles, people working in creative tech / new media moving to Los Angeles, London, and Berlin, and people across the spectrum moving to places upstate. I've also heard a lot of talk about moving to Detroit and other major rust belt cities, but I haven't personally seen much action.
