I wasn't offered any free days, forget about months.
Do you ask because they're offering you a free month, or because other buildings are, and you're deciding based on that?

Hi all, I have looked at a one-bedroom apartment at 38 Sixth Ave and have a question I'm hoping someone can help with.

How do the Islandaire PTAC units perform cooling the apartment? I turned one on and set it to cold when I was viewing the apartment. It seemed the lowest possible temperature was 67 degrees. Does the cool air circulate throughout the apartment, and/or do you do anything to help it circulate? It seemed like it might not circulate so well on its own. Since we've had a couple of hot days recently, I thought people might have some feedback.

Many thanks!

Well my bedroom unit doesnt work. It turns on and cools for about 30 minutes then shuts off with error E9. I submitted a work order for it. I slept on the couch in the livingroom. Thank goodness ptac unit in the living room works. Apt didnt get "Cold" just cool

Also interesting fact con ed read my meter and refunded me about $75 so my electric bill should be cheaper than i thought it was
