Crime and Safety - all this is gonna show is that the crime will still be there but there will be alot less black people to blame and scapegoat for it. This will also disprove the foolish notion that all the criminals in NY City are black people.
Culture - the latin and asian cultures will be even more pronounced than they already are. If black new york should theoretically vanish (and it wont) than latinos will easily become the new scapegoat for anything and everything thats wrong with NY City....the triads and other chinese gangs will gain more power and a scandal will expose them in some way. Then people will act as if chinese people are the ONLY mafia in NY City completely overlooking the existence of italian russian and albanian crime families.
Not matter what racist inscure bozos like alot of the people on this board will scapegoat all their fears and prejudices on someone. They just wont be able to use black people for that sort of thing anymore.
There are huge swaths of NYC still where you can see almost nothing but black people. It's like this in St. Albans where I wait for the Q3 bus to go to my job.

Agreed. Mind you neighborhoods that lost a lot of African Americans got simply got in Caribbean, Black Hispanic, or African immigrants coming into replace them.

More than Black people do gun shootings. And you are right, the numbers of Black people have been held up at least since the 70s via immigration. As African Americans moved out, Black immigrants moved in, whether Black Hispanic, Caribbean, or African.
Peezo you sound very delusional and emotional. What will most likely happen is a strong decline in unemployment, welfare abuse, homicide, subway begging, and quality-of-life should rise

QOL - back when NY City was mostly ethnic whites there was a massive proliferation of slums and trash everywhere. plus its well known white people back in the day werent very fond of taking baths washing their hands after bathroom usage and other hygiene essentials (some still arent) so diseases were rampant. it could very easily go back to those days and you wont have one single black person to blame.

Eastern Queens, and Northeastern and North Central Brooklyn. Upper Manhattan is mostly Black and Latino (with a high percentage of people from countries that have heavier African descent such as Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, etc.). Ditto the Bronx (and you do have West Indians and Africans in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan).
The neighborhoods which truly gentrified are places very close to Midtown or Downtown (Chelsea, Hells Kitchen, anyplace below 96th Street except Lower East Side), or they were former industrial areas that were underpopulated and underutilized (Williamsburg, LIC, Hudson Yards, etc).

You won't have NYC empty out of Black people, just as the city is not emptying out of poor people. The Black people who tend to leave are those who have moved up socieconomically and can buy a house in the suburbs, or in another state. The poor ones on public assistance, or working minimum wage jobs tend to stay here in NYC to take advantage of welfare subsidies that the great messiahs to the internet right wing, Giuliani and Bloomberg were not able to eliminate (because of various court orders).
