Trump's ties to dirty Russian money show just what kind of businessman he is. He's just a rich kid who's been barely able to not lose his inheritance and it's mostly because he inherited a no-lose business. NYC real estate.
Trump was never a tech innovator, so of course not. After he had some major losses, he figured out how to use the media to promote his brand. He is brilliant at brand management, licensing, and media manipulation. After all, it's not those gentlemen, but it's Trump who gets to permanently put his mark on the nation. Even if Trump loses in 2020, the fact that a reality tv show host wiped out his competitors in the Republican primaries and took down Hillary herself is a huge upset in US politics. He said a lot of outrageous stuff, and the media constantly reported it. Trump used that to build up a base of hardcore supporters and rode that way into the White House. He's a demagogue.
