Hi there,

There is a chance I will be relocating for job to the NYC area, working in Manhattan or Brooklyn. My challenge is that I have 2 large dogs. My dogs are not restricted breeds but are in the 85-90 lb. range. My dogs are 4 and 6 yo. My questions are:

- Could I actually live in Manhattan? Would that really be possible at all? e.g. near Central Park.
- What about Brooklyn? e.g. renting a row home or something?

If the city is unlikely, what suburban towns should I consider in NJ, or CT that would be an easy train ride in?

My budget would be in the $3,000 - $4,000 per month range. I am single, don't need a lot of space. In the burbs, ideally, I want a nice town with a walkable downtown, maybe a small backyard but near a train station to get into/out of the city easily.

Thoughts?

Nick

NYC is very dog friendly. Finding an apartment to rent with big dogs is tough though.
