CB preference means that you live in the same community board as the building or development.

Yes like if your you live in the community also if you work for the city a municipal employee you have preference, if you live in nycha you have preference there are different things that makes your application have preference over other... you will hear that a lot.

Well I live on Anderson which is maybe 4 blocks away from the building. Hopefully they'll give me preference

Definitely you do... I live around there as well so they told me I have preference because that.

No nothing still waiting is in HDC for approval. Normally I will call on a weekly basis so I'll wait till next Friday to see if they contact me. I've been going crazy so I don't know if I should wait until they call me or email me. We will see I'll keep you updated.
