She'd gone skydiving before. Amazing that under the right conditions, you come down safely from miles up, but under the wrong conditions, 30 feet can kill you.

I kind of liked the white. I don't really care, though. I waited until we returned to the WTC after 14 years, had to do that full circle thing, I suppose, then I retired. I've been back through the hub several times since, but I don't have any emotional attachment to the new WTC complex at all.

I think the Oculis is wonderful. Too bad it is so smootzed in between so many other ugly buildings. It would look lovely in a more open space.
