Can anyone tell me about this area safety/demo wise? In Woodhaven but not sure about this particular area.

Thanks in advance!

That area is right on the border of Woodhaven and Cypress Hills, right by Franklin K Lane High School. Not a safe area at all, esp. when the school kids are outside. I remember a gang shooting happening there a few years ago between Lane students.

Thanks for the info. I remember that shooting.

Is one stop over (85th -Forest Parkway) any better or basically the same.

Also, should i assume that north of Jamaica in that are is better than South? assuming "better" even exists.

Thanks again

The Forst Parkway stop shouldn't be that bad. I use to take the Woodhaven Blvd station alot and it wasn't bad at all, so I doubt that station is much worse.

The northern portion of Woodhaven [around Forest Park] is generally safer then the southern portion.
