These storms have become political pawns the past few years that allow the Mayor and Gov. to flex their muscle and show how well they are taking care of their constituents. Storms and pols have a lot in common A lot of hype and nothing to show for it in the end.
You definitely got more than us. I'm in BK right next to BBG/Brooklyn Museum, I've been in and out all day and here there is about 4" of not particularly heavy stuff with another 1-2" of icy crap that has built up over the morning. Not hard ice, like frozen slushy. Just enough to support the dog's weight for a second before dropping her down through the light stuff to the ground, lol.

Maybe I exaggerated. But definitely got more than 3 - 4 inches. I'd say at least 6. Or maybe the wind just blew all the snow onto my part of the sidewalk.
Since no one has posted it, above ground is scheduled to resume at 6pm. I've ranged a bit farther from home with a late lunch at this point, everything is open and buses are chained up and seem to be functioning normally. Around here, at least.

Ugh, not looking forward to walking through slush, ice, and unshoveled sidewalks tomorrow.
No worries, from the sounds of it, it will all be all straight up ice tomorrow anyway. Cheers The familiar nasty assed deep slush water that I had to carry the kid unit through intersections through this afternoon, though.
