DSNY Almost never seems prepared for these type of storms.
I'm probably just gonna call out of work. Last snow store I skidded and nearly crashed my car on the way to work. Not really down for that again.
By me in Queens they have over treated some of the roads. After the last big snowfall last month they salted completely dry streets days later. Actually it seems like they dumped salt in certain places. On one street there is a pile that has lasted for a month and feels like a speed bump when you drive over it. On other streets like Union Turnpike there are dust clouds of salt when traffic goes by. It's good to treat the roads but not dump salt on completely dry roads.
I work the night shift so I guarantee there will be Tuesday morning call outs and unfortunately evening shift call outs as well. Then I'll be mandated to stay and feel like death.
This storm is really stressing me out, as I'll have to go to work in that weather and being that it's March I thought the worst of the winter weather was over.
I will be going to war Tuesday morning too. I will be working from home Tuesday and Wednesday. I am going to the supermarket on Monday and chill.

Better stuck up on Tiddays Monday night as well. Perhaps you will find a set of nice ones at the grocery store, in the produce aisle. They say thats where woman find men.
If we don't get a snowstorm, all hail is gonna break loose.
