Opening in October on 18th avenue and 64th street.

I'm excited! Since Pathmark closed I have nowhere to shop for american food.

The new urban format store will sell a more curated assortment of kids’ and baby care products as well as toys; grab-and-go groceries; select kosher items; apparel and accessories for women, men, kids and baby; select home items; an assortment of health, personal care and beauty products; and electronics, entertainment and sporting goods, Target said in its press release.
They're calling it an "urban concept store." Sounds like it will compete with the pharmacies (CVS, Rite Aid, etc) rather than be a replacement for Pathmark.

Go to Shop Rite. McDonald Avenue or Gateway. 1000x times better than Pathmark or Target.

Target is overpriced.

Aren't urban concept stores smaller versions of Target. I've been in that Pathmark multiple times years ago and it's quite big. I think Pathmark was on the upper level, but I forgot what was below. Maybe that's what they're calling all their stores in cities now. I noticed that they're also in the process of renovating the Target in College Point.

This building is much smaller. This is not the same location as Pathmark.

I think the Target in CityPoint in downtown BK is an "urban concept" store. I love it. There is even another target not far away at Atlantic center but the two stores are quite different. The CityPoint one has more, and better, home decor and design items. It also carries fresh produce. It's also much smaller.
