Rego park looks up and coming, is it the next LIC? In particular I'm looking at the Queens Tower at 9229 Queens Blvd near Costco.

I have an apt there....i wouldn't say it's booming. Price increases have been modest. I know the building you are talking about, my doctor is there....are those coops or condos?

These are areas that middle class move to for rents at a discount compare to LIC. Good luck with the boom, it's been relatively the same the last 30 years, same demographics.

Same real estate prices for 30 years ? How is that possible? It's close to Rego center, queens center mall, E/F line. Why wouldn't that cause a boom?

IMHO, because it's near 2 malls and that's it. And nowhere near the E/F. Local trains only. LIC is only booming because of it's location.

Leave Queens alone and stay in Manhattan

Plus prices were already pretty high for NYC standards to begin with before the new malls were built. We're not talking ENY / Brownsville prices for prices to skyrocket.
