I didn't find out until this morning that there was going to be a march to demand the release of Trump's tax returns. I would have participated, but I knew I couldn't get myself together by the 1:00 time. So I was very surprised to be crossing 42nd Street just before 3:00 and finding that marchers were still pouring out, marching up Sixth Avenue, bigly. Very upbeat, thousands strong.

And I enjoyed the signs:

Show us your taxes, not your contempt!
This is not normal!
Even Tricky Dick released his tax returns!
1040 or fight! [In case you don't know history, that's a clever play on "5440 or fight."]
Show us your taxes - Quit Putin us off!
Hail to the Cheat!
and the typically direct New Yorker: F#&@# you, Trump! NY hates you!

Have any of you been in any march yet?

Sorry, but that strikes me as a very obtuse comment. It's older people who understand the implications of the tax returns and the disturbing secrecy of a man who ignores basic tradiciones.

He didn't release his tax returns during the election, and he still won. I don't know why anyone would think he would now, or that the these protests ate going to have any effect at all.

With all that's going on, his tax returns should be the least of anyone's concern. Democratic voters are so hell bent on getting him impeached when they should be worrying about their own party. If it wasn't for the DNC's dirty tricks, Trump wouldn't be president, so how about holding them accountable and making sure the **** they pulled in the primaries doesn't happen again.

Lets not forget that Donna Brazile was fired from CNN for giving Hillary the debate questions, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was forced to resign due to being exposed for working against Bernie. Then Hillary immediately thanked her and hired her for her own campaign. How about when Hillary was getting more delegates than Bernie in states that she lost primaries in, or how Bill Clinton was at polling locations on election days, voter registrations were mysterious wiped, they sent voters to wrong locations, made them wait for hours in line, etc etc etc Democrats, get your heads out of your asses and make sure the DNC doesnt pull this **** again, otherwise you can get ready for Trump's second term.
