Assets are totaled and 0.06% of the total is added to your income. There's also an asset cap, which is pretty low.

There's a handbook, it's VERY long (like 60 pages long so it's possible you've never read a book that long...) but really educate yourself about the process. You can find it on the housing connect website and just do a simple google search. It will answer every single question that seems to pop up 50000 times a day on this board.

Read the guidelines in that book, the more you understand the rules, the better you'll fare. Knowing the guidelines is very helpful if you appeal. It will help your tactics.

So after applying to 76 developments I finally got a call and went to the interview.

THIS

ooooof. Stop applying to every single development you don't qualify in the income range for. PLEASE! You RUIN it for people who DO fall into these income guidelines.

I've def read books that long, thankz. Also I only apply to developments that I qualify for but after going to the interview they calculate things slightly different. I will read the handbook and get more information but thank you for you input
