I think people feel the economy is worse than it is. I think the economy is transitional, and people hate change.

And, of course, none of this has anything to do with Trump.

it is weird if you look at what is going on in the economy . the numbers reflected in most of the reports are decent but they are more like the reports we see early on in a recovery .

even rates have only gone up a small amount like you would see in the beginning of a recovery .

the leading indicators show the same . it is almost like the recovery had such a fight back it was delayed and only now are we seeing the real beginning of a recovery.

who knows , like 1982 maybe the party is just starting late and instead of the end we are more towards the beginning .

don't forget in 1982 investors were screaming about how over valued stocks were when in one year p/e's doubled from 6 to 12 . with double digit interest rates 12 was high .

but who knew that was the start of the biggest bull run in history .

rates came down and that made these valuations a bargain once again .

today we have low inflation , low oil prices , huge advances in technology and dependency on oil dwindling down . every modern recession was because of high oil .


so no one really knows where we stand .
