A friend invited me there to celebrate a birthday. My first time eating there. I ate there at 8 pm. By 1 am I'm sick. I'm still sick.
My question did anyone else eat there and get sick?

No I've never been but this is exactly what I would expect from there.

I never understood how all those chain restaurants in Times Square stay in business. Who even goes to them?

It's about convenience. I went to the McDonald's in Times Square a few months ago, so I can see how those places do business. But I agree, I almost never eat in chains/touristy areas when I travel.

Hey don't be tawkin' bad about Olive Garden now. I expressly forbid it.

I've eaten in the Times Square Red Lobster too many times with an older relative who unfortunately loves chains (and bad food). It was recommended to her by the fish guy in Morton Williams or some such place when she told him we wanted seafood. He used to work at Red Lobster in Times Square and told her there was such a volume of business that the fish was always fresh. I don't love the place, nor her other favorite, Dallas BBQ, but I'm surprised if you got sick there. Or I'd be surprised if it was the seafood since I've never had a problem.
