Memorial mural, what this is, is done in the hood to honor the dead. This is not grafitti, repping someones name. And it was not put up right after death. It does not matter if you like him or not, it represents the death of someone popular, who made it out of bed stuy!

These types of artwork, which is popular in up and comming, gentrifying neighborhoods, is trendy, and more artwork like this not only draws fans to the location, but beutifies/adds color.

But like many have said, it is private property, and the owner can do as he wishes.

But what if it was a 9/11 memorial, fallen soldiers, fallen nypd? Would you naysayers feel the same way?
