WAIT a minute!! You just said on another thread that "money is no object" when it comes to rent. You do realize that this puts you in the $6000 per month (at least) range. And there are plenty of apartments more expensive.

$6000 a month is $72,000 a year. How in the world could you save $72,000 (and that is just for the rent) in two years between the ages of 16 and 18?

Something is not adding up, unless you have a trust fund, which is fine, but that doesn't exactly fall into the category of "saving up". Please be upfront here.

Haha. I've haven't been saving up for rent or tuiton. I've been saving for transportation, food, pet supplies, etc.

I could never save up 72k in two years.
