That relative might be able to get benefits since they are grown living with you but Not your kid like someone said you may need to provide a letter.... but they are super strict. I'm single with a child and I've been receiving DB from my job since being on leave from work due to giving birth for 3mons now. I went to apply for FS and they said I made too much collecting DB so I got denied 😑......but anyway I would have the relative apply. They could apply online or go in person....it's better to go in person so the situation can be better explained.....more than likely they will try and get your relative into Workforce so that they can find a job.....
