While we're at it, extend the 3 train to Howard Beach to link up with the A if people want to develop in that area.
Yeah. Given the location of this project they should've just built this thing in Queens. Extending the 3 to Howard Beach is a bad idea though. I doubt many people would opt for a local train over the existing A express. That section of Queens isn't very dense either and the Howard Beach-JFK station isn't very busy.

Lol I was just joking. Even if it was really proposed, you could only imagine the NIMBYs
but for real though, they will have to extend the 3 train some more if they really are developing in that area big scale.

No train within walking distance always kills it for me no matter the location.
The article says that it is walking distance to the "Grand Avenue stop on the A train." Obviously the YIMBY writer has no IMBY relationship to the neighborhood.

A lot of articles in NY Daily News have mis-namings of streets and incorrect neighborhoods too. When I was younger, I read the newspaper and all the information (from a location standpoint) was dead-on accurate to the address. Transplants work at these places now.

Yikes...isn't this basically "The Hole"? Or just across Linden from it?
