Drove back from Tampa to the Bx alone Sunday morning didn't get home till Monday before rush hour and i have to say iv'e slept almost 3 days straight, its off my bucket list and will never attempt such a crazy task alone again as its my first drive of such distance and i have to say shame on NY the interstate roadway in so much better in the south 10 to 1 and the speed limit is freaking 70 and troopers are not riding you just because you're doing 77 you literary have to be doing 85+ to get pulled over. so yea that's my lil experience/ rant anyone want to share..... anyone....... anyone?
I know exactly what you mean. Though my longest drive has only been 7 hours west (Ohio) from NYC, I'll say the following: The first pothole I hit after driving for 7 hours was on the NY interstate. Pathetic.

Iv'e said this a million times you can lock me in the trunk of a car anywhere in this country and drive ill let you know when i'm in NY
I went to Texas last year and their highways are so much better it's not even funny. And it's not just the highways, but people there actually know how to drive, unlike here with all the constant road rage and crazy taxi drivers.

Texas they can't drive at all. Every ice or snowstorm the city shuts down because of all the accidents. Now if you prefer slow drivers than that's a different story
