Are you crazy? when I've been to little Italy I ate my life away for $20 in an Italian restaurant. One of the best cities in terms of variety of food!

Toxic corporate food selections? You are referring to Mickey Ds and Burger King and fast food places. Plenty of organic markets, restaurants that are farm to table and cook natural homestyle. Have you eaten anywhere else other then at the Port Authority? You make it sound like all the food choices, every restaurant and cafe is like that kind of place. Have you tried different neighborhoods? Like just walking around and trying the local places?

Highly recommend that at least ten percent of NYC move to Chicago in the next decade. Win win.

Lol. Not even reading through this thread. NYC has some of the very best food, chefs and food establishments in the world. It can only be matched by the likes of Paris. And even that is pushing it.

OP must have visited Times Square and now considers that to be representative of NYC food offerings. Lol just Lol!

No need to read beyond OP. Just read his past posts in profile. Then see if it's worth the time for a response. He has some issues. (Dominicans, women, illegals and NY food).

Times Squares larger chain restaurants are not only run of the mill mediocre food but are expensive, with some not knowing even going to restaurant Row or Hells Kitchen, a short walk away would get you a comparably priced meal at some places and far superior quality. And thats doesn't scratch the surface counting all the other areas with great food. And thats just ONE of the five boroughs alone.

I don't think the OP will be convinced without some real exploration, if that is even enough.
