I'm pending HDC and still not in Ashland. Until you sign a lease and given keys, NONE of this is guaranteed.

Just got a call from riverton. Guy told me it takes 30-60 days to get interview after you submit paper work. He mentioned that after interview and if everything looks fine, you are shown an apartment. Also, your paper work do not need approval from HDC. However, your paper work is sent to HDC for mere “record keeping”( yearly audit). Very relaxed process at Riverton...I maybe wrong!!!

I should apply for Riverton but for market rate. I was looking at the website and their one bedrooms are only 50 bucks more than what I would pay for the lottery that is currently processing me. So that may be a thought for me if my current application with the lottery folks don't go through.

Apart, listen to me. They know that most people’s leases begin and expire in the spring/summer so believe me that’s when they’ll reach out. You can’t get restless and give up hope because that’s when poor decision making will set in. Wait until it gets warmer. Believe me, somethin is comin

For those who may have missed the first round of opening, on 11/30/2017 - 01/02/2018 Riverton will open again for 7500 individuals to be placed on the waiting list.
