Hi there HellUpInHarlem,

Just read this entire thread and wow! Thanks for sharing so much details with us. I am very much interested in Riverton but have been reading so many mixed reviews. I was wondering, now that you've settled in a bit how are you liking it so far? I've read reviews about people having issues with bugs, theft and sketchy people outside of the property. What's it like living next to the Lincoln Projects and walking at night?

It’s oooook. The projects I avoid, or only walk through during the daytime. They ain’t fu**in with me. Lincoln is supposedly tame and the 12 are a mainstay. Seen em on the rooftops and I see a presence. I don’t see sketch hanging outside of Riverton often. The theft comes from mail carriers leaving packages in front of the tenants doors without a signature, not home invasions. Bed bugs have existed within the buildings but from what I know they’ve been taken care of

Ok. So is there anything in particular you'd like to see them improve on? How are the tenants? Do you have any regrets accepting this apartment? Would you recommend it to anyone else? Hope you don't mind all these questions.

Have the income limits changed for this building, I've been told I qualify for a one bedroom and monthly rent is $1,074. I looked at he AMI for this building and there are no apartments at this price.

I was for an apartment weeks ago and I'm still waiting to hear back from a Rep from this building, calls are not returned. Should I start calling every day to get answers.

No, this lottery actually didn't have a CB preference or any preference for that matter. They only drew 7500 applications to build their list which I think is only valid for 2 years. My log # was in the 3K range
