Hey guys,
I am selected for the first time ever for an apartment and it's this one.
anyone else has been selected?
I am in the process on during all applications
I have a question regarding child support part of the application
the thing said family of one 1 but I got no kids lol
I think I should just not fill that out right and let them know?
I don't want to get disqualified lol

Don't you count as a person? It's like when you do your taxes... You can claim yourself.

Am wondering if these are really ordinary apartments are actually housing projects? Have passed by various times and thought they were PJs.

Don't be so happy just yet. Should read the reviews of this place first on Yelp or whatever. Can tell you that area overall if not great and if the building you're moving into is not the PJs then the PJs are across the street with lots of sketchy characters. NYPD lives over there and has a unit set up in the area to deter drugs and everything else.

Am just trying to prepare you for what you may face in case you aren't familiar with that environment.

These definitely aren't projects, but more a development akin to Parkchester / Stuytown, albeit on a massively smaller scale; though, they are in close proximity of the projects.
I read the flyer and chuckled when they said one of the amenities was it being a "gated community."

The layouts are pretty decent.

Good luck!

Then the PJs are across the street. As was said surrounding area is not great and basic amenities are not close and/or lacking. Can go to Malcolm X Blvd or whatever, but didn't feel safe over there. Actually parts of the South Bronx feel safer.
