An NYPD officer shot while sitting in a police vehicle in the Bronx has died, authorities said early Wednesday.

The slain officer was identified as Miosotis Familia, 48.

Such a sad day. The community needs to come and speak out against this senseless killing of a LE officer.

Let me correct you: Certain areas of the Bronx won't be doing any such thing. Don't condemn the entire borough as a cesspool, though most of it is with a handful of good areas that plenty of cops live in.

This goes beyond stop and frisk. This is a parenting issue. He probably had parents that had no business having kids. I hope he had no kids; otherwise, the cycle will continue.
