If I got on the subway and that everyone was grinning like Mr. Sardonicus I'd back right out and wait for the next train.

You sound like the typical person that gets stabbed in the subway

I mean seriously, this sort of question personally makes me angry.

If I've just woken up at 6 am after going to bed late, gotten the kids ready for school, scrambled to leave the house and going in half awake for 10 hours of work, I don't want to smile - I want to be left the f*** alone. No stupid accordion, no showtime, just leave me the f*** alone. That pretty much goes for how everyone on the train feels too

I dislike when people think I owe them a smile and tell me to smile. Especially if I'm feeling bad and in a mood. They don't know me and what I'm going through.

But, if they want to pass out dang good free sammiches made by men for women then sure I'll smile.

I didn't even look at the poll options. Because the fact remains it's a stupid question, and I am irritated every day by people wanting my attention and acknowledgement. I don't owe anyone anything, especially not a smile.

I'm not stressed, I'm just over being harassed. And while it's not anything I can't handle, it's still harassment.

Pretty sure the next thing you would need is a train with port-a-potties

$100 should do it. For each smile.

I prefer bottles. But I suppose that'd be a safety issue?
