I think there are way too many streets to say a single one alone represents Brooklyn the best.

Gotta be Flatbush. Goes from the poorest areas to the richest. No matter where you live, you gone down Flatbush at one time or another.

Yeah I figured Flatbush Avenue would win this one. The street literally goes through the middle of the borough and goes through a diverse set of neighborhoods.

Flatbush all the way. Not only for its sheer length and being consistently busy throughout, but because of how diverse and equally representative of Brooklyn its various sections are.

The stretch from the Marine Park bridge to Kings Plaza is mostly marshland. The stretch from Kings Plaza to Kings Highway has an undeniable "south Brooklyn" feel. Then you have the Midwood stretch with the extremely busy Brooklyn college area, followed by Flatbush with a Caribbean vibe and lots of very old buildings. Then after slicing between Prospect Park and the Botanical garden, it emerges at Grand Army Plaza as it makes it way toward downtown Brooklyn passing Barclays Center, BAM and LIU Brooklyn, finally turning into the roadway for the Manhattan bridge.

It can't get any more Brooklyn than that, honestly.

Either Flatbush or Atlantic. Leaning on atlantic for the following reasons:

Sheer ground covered by Atlantic avenue. Haven't looked it up but it takes you from the bqe all the way by the water on he west side of Brooklyn all the way to Queens. Although it doesn't have the residential/carribean home feel like Flatbush it is still a huge passage that goes right through the heart of Brooklyn. Also takes you to the Jackie Robinson Parkway and spans all the way to the S Conduit. Gotta give Atlantic the edge over flatbush.
