I haven't received any updates after dropping off the paper work a few weeks ago. I read somewhere else that they weren't even up to the log numbers in the hundreds yet. Did you get a log number below 100's? It will probably take a few months before hearing anything.

My log is below 50 but I am not a CB preference. I had missed my first drop off date but when I went last week I saw log numbers over hundred on the sign in book. Thank you for your respond abcdefgnewyork :-)

How hard is it for a household grossing $78K/year to get a bank mortgage for $426,000?

You know that they have changed the minimum income from $78K to 85K - 119,250 for 2 bedrooms. They said it went up due to current interest rates.
As for the bank mortgage, I'm not too sure. This is my first time as well but I guess it has to do with your credit, income, other loans and monthly spending? I read from somewhere that they have a designated bank assigned to each development, not sure how true that is. If so, I wonder if their rates are lower?

wow 50 is low! good luck! I dropped off my paper work the first day they said I was able to drop off the paper work but my number is in the hundreds. I called last week and they told me that I would just have to wait because they didn't reach the hundreds yet.

The change to the max income is what qualified me, before then I would have made too much. They do have there own bank mortgage dedicated for this lottery. This is also my first time so I am not sure if the rates would be lower.

Good luck to you!! Are you CB Preference? These waiting game is a killer. I have been having dreams about this! LOL
They had first told me I was ineligible because they said I own or purchased property. So I appealed it and now they said they will move me back to the review department. They said I must have checked the wrong box. I'm saying to myself what box???Anyway, I wish there is a way to find out if my files really went back to review?

No I am not CB Preference. I know, I have been dreaming about it as well. I know it's a long shot esp since my log number is so high. At least you got an answer that your application is in the review department, that is hope! I don't even think they touched my envelope. When I dropped it off it was probably about 10 other people who signed the sheet, I am hoping that helps a little. Do you mind me asking if you going for the 1 or 2 bedroom?
