Hello, can anyone recommend an affordable ESL (English as Second Language) program in NYC?

So far from what I've searched everything in Manhattan is very expensive ($1000+ / month).

Thanks!

Hey

You can check out the public library, they hold free ESL classes, not "programs" though.

Thanks, that's helpful but what I really want is some intensive full time program so one can learn quickly.

Try City College The program helps students develop proficiency in grammar, reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. The program consists of six levels starting from beginner (level 1) to advanced (level 6).

Hiring a private instructor/tutor. Send me a private message if you are interested which would be a bit cheaper than a language school such as inlingua (which offers intensive one-on-one ESL programs).

Cheapest one I've found in the city so far is Bell School in Brooklyn. $590 for 6 weeks.

The English abroad. The cost of training.
