Market rate residential is working as a normal functioning "market" should; landlords are free to charge whatever they like, but renters equally can (and often are these days) choosing to look out for best deal. This explains why many market rate landlords are offering all sorts of concessions (now including rent reductions) to get units filled.
idk man, when you make 60k a year and you can't afford a decent place is kinda sad. you need to make 150k in other to get a decent place. unless you don't mind living in basement or crappy apt and area.

i think landlords are now over charging people for crap. i seen a god damn studio for 1500. seriously ? a studio?

You can make it into a stickied thread and lock or delete all new threads that don't pertain to using the master thread.

Who cares?

People act like it's oh so hard to scroll and click a couple of times.

And housing is THE issue of this city. Also, the other threads are basically all just excuses to be astoundingly racist, so what's the loss here?

So true...it is the issue of this city. And it is also annoying. Who wants to have to jump through hoops and fill out a lions share of paperwork to rent an apartment? It didn't used to be like this. It would look neater to the eye to have a sub forum with the AH posts so they are organized. It is helpful to those seeking affordable info etc. BUT as previously stated...people will still post where ever so what's the use? No big deal the rest will just scroll past.
