Agree. Real Estate is a business. You can't blame the business owner from trying to attain max potential in his/her property.

Of course you should also not blame the tenants for fighting rent increases. Saying its business cuts both ways. Just as businesses seek to increase revenue, they seek to cut costs. Tenants whether individuals or families are businesses as well.

Tenants are customers not businesses. A customer can complain about the price and they can also take their business elsewhere. A customer can also buy their property and be their own landlord or boss...

...or in NYC a customer can just get the government to create laws and levy force against those whom they disagree with. IE, modern leftism.
