Can you show me studies that contradict this, or you simply ignoring what you don't want to believe or deal with?
I know of such case that happened here in Mott Haven. Its not me though, but I know of one. Lots of moving companies are located here, but then again that white criminal has a connect for that moving company. College educated black kid did not get in, this was during the recession btw. During the recession any job was better than no job.

Actually the OP linked the noise complaint to racism and oppression of minorities.

This is according to the data cited by various major studies and reported by media outlets. Are you accusing magazines such as Forbes of lying?

Forbes claims that white college drop outs do just as well as black men with bachelor degrees.

And why would a respectable publication like Forbes lie?
Forbes isn't lying, they are just playing with statistics to sell magazines. Please provide the data showing the universities that the gringos dropped out of, and where the black people graduated from.

ey findings include:

Both black and Hispanic men were less likely to receive a positive response from employers—including a call back or email for an interview or a job offer—compared with white men.
Men with criminal records were more likely than women with criminal records to receive a negative response from employers.
White men with a criminal record had more positive responses than black men with no criminal record.

Not according to this and other studies. This study was done at Arizona State University.

Can you provide references to studies that contradict this? Or again is it you just don't want to deal with this grim issue.

Of course the American dream claims work hard, be a saint, and all will be well. But considerable research and data show that's somewhat false.

Any sort of job like a moving company doesn't want to hire educated of any color. Because they can and will quickly move on to other things. They are over-qualified.

And I actually think the right wingers use identity politics more.

In a few minutes, I will be doing a youtube video. The youtube video is to help out men. Mainly poor white men and men of color, and the topic is about college degrees. If college is worth it or not, what degrees are worthless, what colleges to get into. If college is not your thing, than either go to trade school or go to the military because vocational education has been eliminated since the 90s. As for me? I value education, and education improves the individual. Education has opened my doors to meeting and networking with people. Education has put me on dates and relationships with women who went to Stanford, Brown, and my current GF who has a Phd.

As for African Americans with college degrees not getting jobs. Have you ever heard of the woman named Tamika? Tamika is college educated, she applied for jobs and she could not lock down not one interview. Guess what Tamika did. She shorten her name to Tami, and guess what? She got called for an interview and got the job. Her Afrocentric first name disallowed her to land job interviews. Just recently I debated with my girlfriend about this, and she is African American and Pro Black, Pro African American on almost everything. We argued about if we had kids, what will we name them. I said I want a name like Megan, Karen, Zoe, Sophie, Brad, Steve, Brian, Jason, Madison, Brook, Tom and so on. She said those names are too white. I told her why I want white names, and having an African American sounding name will reduce a child's chance of landing a job. But I was also brought up on white Anglo names, she said you see, that is post colonialism on why I want white names.
